noob here - how easy is it to get to the dome light wiring - don't you have to take down the interior of the roof lining?
    thanks

I could be wrong, but I am thinking (hoping) that you could fish a wire from the 3rd brake light over the headliner to the dome light with out dropping the headliner.

Noob here also. Are you saying that the switch to turn on the cargo light would be the same switch that turns on the dome light? Or is there a way to have a separate switch only for the cargo light?

Preference of instillation. Can wire it to the dome switch or a separate.

Yes, it's easy to get a wire from the dome light to the 3rd brake. After both lights are removed, use a fish rod or coat hanger and snake a wire through.(it's only a few feet)
My preference would be tagging off the dome light trigger(I don't have a 2nd gen, but i think it's positive trigger can anyone confirm??). That way you'd never have to worry about leaving them ON and they will activate once you unlock the door, etc.
that's pretty much how the 3rd gen cargo lights operate minus a master switch on the dash to manually activate the cargo.

Light shipped to crashnburn.. hopefully he'll have a review this weekend.
Wish I could have fit more lights in it(I am never satisfied) but it just wasn't feasible with the given space.

In the meantime, I am whipping up pre-made drop in panels. Long ones are 3d gen double cab, short 2nd gen.
