Definitely with you in the sense that tires (necessity) before toys (armor and any other extra shit). For my trucks the priority was remove/black out chrome, lift shocks and aal, then wheels and tires. I didnt buy the grill, the police bar or light bar and light pods until much later, cuz those things are just swag. Sure they serve functions, but rarely (with exception to the reverse light pods).


But we all prioritize differently and I was on a hella budget.


We don't make each others vehicle and credit card payments. so in the end, who cares if Chad blows money on this and that instead of tires?

We just gotta sit back and bite our tongues.

So at work today, I stretched with my hands behind my head while sitting at a light. The kid in the front seat looks at me weird and asked "Why do your bones make all those popping noises when you do that?"
I explained that it was normal, that my joints pop all the time. He proceeded to tell me that I'm old.

And then waiting for the rest of my kids from my B school, the kids that were already on the bus tried to teach me how to do a dance move called a "dab."
Then they told me I can't dance.

 

So at work today, I found out a fellow in my department got a raise. I did my thing and figured out I'm the lowest paid by $14,000 a year. Someone once told me that if you're underpaid by 3%, it's time to start looking. I don't really know what defines "underpaid", but I'd have to get a 23% raise to meet the average pay for my department.
