    Sub' for product updates/availability.
    I'm interested and agree w/prior comments on allowing orders to be placed and give aprox order timeframe so those willing to wait in line have that chance and then charge on shipment. This looks interesting - to bad its an aftermarket solution to something that I took for granted would be optimized for 'driving' directly from Toyota. That being said - innovation by a member here is awesome and want to support that!

    @dcz108 What was the reason that you left 1st to 2nd controlled by the car's computer and not take control of it too? I'm concerned that another TSB might screw this up at a later time and no way to fix it. They already did this in ECT mode.

    He answered that question a few pages back. It has something to do with the torque converter playing such a huge role at those speeds and/or not seeing any advantage controlling it.

    The advantage would be to avoid what I just mentioned. It's one thing to send out a few hundred chips to fix the problem should it happen. What about when his orders turn into the thousands?

    If it can't be done then it can't done.
