    Sorry, that was a question, not a statement. So it's not in the shark fin, and not in the headunit, manual sates in instrument panel. So I was assuming / questioning if they located it in the same place as many toyota & all subaru cars. (Behind the instrument panel)

    I guess if it bothers me that much, then I will have it painted. I am just surprised that it isnt already. I have been looking at all the Tacomas around here also and they all seem to have black antennas..:rolleyes:

    In my subaru the GPS antenna is totally seperate and under the dash directly behind the cluster. Could very well be the case in your trucks.

    I have a 2017 Limited SSM.. my fin is black.

    That said, I think it looks good, and I think it is "the way it is" on the 3rd gens. :thumbsup:

    Look at the bright side.. unlike other makers, Toyota does not fire off our OCD issues by putting off to one side. :eek:
