2-3 hrs in the morning, then 2-4 hrs before work; generally about 6 hrs a day together. On days off try to stay up, hit wall between 8 & 9 PM; wake up between 12 & 2 AM, then try to sneak in another 1 or 2 hr nap before daybreak.

Work days, about 5 hour average sleep. off days I refuse to get out of bed before the 8 hour mark, even if I'm just on my phone. Days off, wife and I are usually up til midnight plus or minus an hour. we're late night people anyways.

kinda sorta. one of the facets of job. Multi-ops technician. Part of job is to run the Ultra Pure Water plant. RO's, UV's, mixed beds, filters, etc. And occasionally, because night shift, we are for some reason the default go to for running toilets and plugged drains:rofl:

For me it beats dealing with the reindeer wranglers on day shift, or the disruptiveness of 2nd shift. I got enough of both during my 26 years on active duty. But admittedly that's a trade-off for the abnormal work/sleep cycle. :notsure:
