Figured I would offer this here before posting on the classifieds...Im going to sell my mobtown skids (front IFS, Mid, and Transfer case) as a set. Letting them all go for $450 if anyone is interested. I am going to get my exhaust rerouted and so I am going a different route with skids. The front IFS and transfer case skids are 1/4 inch steel, the mid skid is 3/16 inch. Way more than you will ever need in this area. Good deal for someone looking to armor up.

Normally this would run $650 from mobtown without having to drive up there.

Appreciate it man...where did you get your reroute done at David? I could likely use some references of what items need to be cut and stuff if you might have any pictures of your set up.

 

Hmm, I guess I could resell the front ATO plate that I got a little while back....

 

the exhaust looks super simple driver side has to be cut and tucked closer to the transfer case then merge them back into one on the driver side.

i never got mine done. The shop I went to quoted me $500. I can get a whole new Y-pipe for $350.

Speaking of this, anyone want a TRD stainless exhaust? have to trade your Y-pipe and stock exhaust, for my Y-pipe and TRD exhaust. I will do the work.

I don't remember where @CanisLupus got his reroute done or how much he paid to have it done. Doesn't seem like it would be near $500 worth of work.

I am interested in the armor. Got any pics/condition? Would I need to strip them down and repaint?

Since I am still on factory suspension should I hold off on installing all the plates?

 

I went to Midas in Chantilly once for something. It was super simple and a cheap job. Was done in no time. Can't even remember what it was but was happy with the service and price.

Unfortunately I don't at the moment. @DOUBLLD if you might be available, would you mind snapping some photos of them if you get the chance? They will need some touch up paint as they have been wheeling a few times as of late.
