You Carolina boys take truck meets to a different level.

 

The urge to smoke this weekend is strong.

Even with a brisket in the freezer, I wouldn't mind smoking up another just to have it cooked up.

I also had to throw out a bunch of fish and shrimps. its been a bad morning.

If you want to buy me sea bass, go for it. I'm too cheap to eat that all the time. Lol

I ate a shit ton of grouper in Florida.

 

The freezer tripped the breaker a week or so back and It was 100% casualties.

Yea there was a bunch of good meat in there.

You ever had raw Spanish mackerel just dipped in soy sauce with a little lemon sprinkled on it? not bad!

 

yea, doesn't compare to tuna, but we were catching a bunch of good sized Spaniards there for a bit so we started trying them out lol. I forgot I also had about 10lbs of sheepshead in the freezer too. time to start restocking! next boat season cant come fast enough.

 

true true. ive just gotten burned out on fish in the past few years.

 

I know right? I wish I had land. id have a couple of pigs getting fattened up and maybe a cow or two fattening up. oh and a damn garden. a man can dream.

One of my friends left their job to start a farm. Now they're living that life.

Also, I could totally have chickens in my back yard.

 

I think that would be a super rewarding life man. not exactly sure what youd do for income if youre only making enough for yourself, but hey, we'll let future us worry about that.
