Regarding mods over the weekend, planning to knock out some maintenance items and hopefully finish up the wiring project. Decided to add a switch that'll allow me to toggle the relay power being constant hot vs ignition switched. I think I have a switch that'll fit in the coin cubby on the left without interfering with the fuse panel back behind it but need to test fit it.

The Cali Raised brackets fit well and the lights are bright as hell. They're the Cali Raised Side Projecting Cubes. It wasn't totally dark, but I tested them on an unlit back road. They were really bright and did a good job of casting some light at 90 degrees to the side. Pretty much made my headlights useless.

Yeah, if it was just Houston I wouldn't go. I just don't get many chances to go to the coast. I know the water is brown but it's still the beach.

I've got a set of D2's I need to pick up from @Sleipnir if I ever get my rear end down to his neck of the woods (hopefully in about 2 weeks) and while the plan was to put them in the US OFF ROAD bumper next to the winch where I currently have the Sirius Pros, I've kind of rethought my idea of putting rock lights in so there's an empty switch looking for a purpose in life.

Cancelled the Exhaust order... decided to spend the money on new EBC rotors and EBC brake pads as they are needed and doing both myself are cheaper than taking them somewhere to be turned and such... and realized that the price on the exhaust just to change the sound was kinda dumb in the long run... Also ordered some new spark plugs to go ahead and change out as I am at the 80k mile mark in the truck and time to do a full maintenance on the truck with Brakes, Oil, Plugs, Filters, Grease, etc, etc.

I was hoping to check yours out. I want to do this but not if it makes it too loud.

That drone at Hwy speed is what kills it for me. Not sure I would like that. What's the harm in just chopping the exhaust at the turn down? I would think this is not much louder than stock and you still get the clearance.

I already have mine chopped off at the turn down, may chop it again and have a turn down welded on so that it turns down before the rear axle. May also look at getting the exhaust reroute done at the same time since may as well.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm ready to do my reroute and I thought I could just have them chop at the turn down while they are at it. Have you had any issues with fumes while sitting still? I heard that it can cause fumes in the cab sense its now not being directed out the side.

Those look nice! I would like to hear how they perform on the trails. I have been looking into getting a set myself.
I also have this one for the streets!

I would have liked to hear that exhaust. I have been putting off the exhaust because i like my truck being quiet. Ive also been debating on disconnecting my alarm from my horn so that it will lock/unlock and not be so loud.

Also if we ever have a mod day at my place i have a ping pong table the "observers" can throw down on!

Im thinking i should take my dirt bike out to play. Maybe the night run out at Bridgeport would be a fun place for it.

Any one know how to hook up an LED pod for a head light on a motorcycle with no battery?? Kick start only...

I know.... decided spending that money just to have the truck sound different was not worth it. So used it to buy new Rotors and Pads, Oil, Spark Plugs, and such and still have some left over for later use.

One thing that sucks that I live 2 hours away from everyone really. Makes it hard to take part in Mod Days!
