TW...I'm in a 2017 Silver LTD...and love the operation and style of the truck so far, but I'm starting to notice some issues with the seat adjustments that I can't seem to work around. I'm 6'3" tall and can't seem to get far enough away from the dash due to the lack of telescope...during test drives and my first 2 months of ownership it wasn't an issue, but seems to have reared its head now.

Not sure I want to battle it with frickin foam supports, etc.

Any tall guys with any work arounds or similar issue?

seems I'm posting this every other day..

went to an upholstery shop and had them carve out as much foam from the underside of the seat bottom as they could. it gave mea great bucket feel and dropped my seating position between 1-2" or so, and made it very comfortable. before it was a misery driving this thing, now it's easy for hours. $204 OTD.

I'm 6'2" and don't have any issues with the seats but others have mentioned this . I have seen comments that some people are taking their seats out and replacing them.

Thanks STG that's interesting...sorry hadn't seen that post...what do you reckon that did for you ergonomically? lower your knees perhaps (which is my problem...they are jacked up high)...could you share that shop's name...maybe I could get some ideas of the scope of work

the old lady mentioned that last night, and I thought she was crazy...but faced with equity loss at trade in that might be possible/feasible

In for the "didn't you test drive it before you bought it" comments.

I did Smitty...and actually put that in my post, due to the potential of you saying that (reasonable suggestion/comment)...all I can surmise is that the problem got worse over 4,000 miles of my ass in the seat

Looks like St. Germain and I live in the same area, so the upholstery thing might be worth doing

Well, if surgery to remove a couple of inches of shin bone is off the table, sounds like the seat reconfigure is the way to go.
Did something similar on a motorcycle seat once, for the opposite problem (too short). Best money ever spent for comfort.

    LOL.
In the following pic, icetreye appears to be in the same angle from possibly same photographer? You're just a freak or icetreye is a midget, but he does looks a little shorter than average though....

I wouldn't say it but the White Knights will... even though you put the disclaimer :D I expected one of the usual suspects to chime in "you should have known this from your test drive"

Shin bone surgery not off the table...may be cheaper than trade-in

I'm 6'3"....don't have issues with comfort in this truck. That said, I have ape arms (37" sleeve), so that probably helps counter the lack of steering wheel telescoping adjustment for me.

Initially, I felt like the seat bottom lacked thigh support and the lack of seat tilt didn't help matters. I've gotten used to that now, though, and don't even notice. Curious if the OP's issue is the lack of thigh support due to the seat having to be too far forward?
