    They might have changed.

I've been trying to build a roof rack from this for a while. The only problem is the corners. No one makes a nice corner bracket that would look good.

Wow what a great link to good prices. I've been looking for a way to mount my 2nd spare in my bed and this extruded aluminum looks like what I want to use.

What is really odd about this swap? I didn't have to have my pressure sensors re-programmed to my truck. I thought it was really odd last night when I test drove it to be sure all was good.

I took it in today for an alignment and service, cause it needed it anyway and I had them check it all out and everything is fine. Guess I have two sets of wheels now that I can swap back and forth when I want. Might have to get some winter tires.

I would think that too. But unless he took his spare set of tires with him to get the alignment done than maybe not.

Maybe it's like my Subaru? When I put on my summer tires, the TPMS sensor didn't come on until I drove for like 15 minutes. Now it comes on directly at start up.

Soo it takes mine a few minutes to trigger that dash light. My winter tires do not have TPMS and after I put them on I sometimes go weeks before seeing the light. If I'm just in my small town doing daily driver duty I don't have any long enough trips. Light sometimes startles me the first time I leave town in the winter.

Not saying that's the case for you.. but have you driven around for half an hour yet?

i think the sensors have a pretty good range at times. When i switched over to my summer wheels, anytime i was at home and left the light wouldnt come on for 20 minutes. When i was away from home and starting up, the light would come on right away. My wheels were in the basement. I finally found a good dealer. I just brought my truck into city tire to relearn the tpms expecting the guy to charge $20. When he was done, he said you're all set have a good day, no charge

The are many sizes available. I would have to look at the catelog, but they do specify deflection amounts for both point and distributed loads. For a point load at that span I would not be worried if the truck were stationary. Moving could cause deflection. Distributed loads of 200 lbs would probably be just fine. You can add bars as well to distribute even further.
