That was my thought as well. I know a front locker isn't happening soon but I had used a viar compressor and it shit out on me so I didn't want to waste another 60 bucks so I just got the

$350 ckma12 on-board air compressor high performance 12 volt for air locker differentials and tire inflation

ckma12 for future locker use and current tire fill ups.

 

Have you used it yet?

A matched size spare is much better than a mis-sized spare or no spare at all. Also remember that with the 285's, the spare will be visible if that bother's you. I bought a matched tire for my spare, but it is on a 3.75 backspaced wheel. When I cut the tire at AOP, I forgot the difference and was rubbing my UCA and had to move it to the back. Those little things don't seem like much, but can be inconvenient.

Don't do any green trails at Stoney. They are all primarily flat with tight turns. I put more pin stripes on my truck on green trails at stoney than I have blue or red trails.
