I'm trying to get all my 'useless' mods out of the way before it's maintenance/preventative maintenance time

 

Ha. Yea, I guess you did. Going to be a long fun filled day of just doing maintenance to the truck along with giving it a bath and such.

I still need to get my extended brake lines installed.

Yea, now that summer is approaching, and before it gets too hot, may as well get all this done now that I will have some time off during the week to get it accomplished.

 

I'm going to have to do a pile of maintenance soon as well as my front right axle is clicking and the factory carrier bearing is almost shot.

 

I would like to do a fluid flush and do rear and all that as well, but going to hold off on that for a little bit I think.

Trying to figure out what all I need to replace the rear brake lines with the extended ones I have had since before last September.

 

I wheel with my stock brake lines and never had an issue.

 

I did my 30k maintenance a while back don't forget to torque your spark plugs. I got a small torque wrench at HF.

 

Yea, I have too. But still have these things sitting at the house... so feel like I should at least install them.

 

Will do! I have a torque wrench, pretty sure it will go down to where I need it to be for them.

 

I cheaped out. Borrowed a pipe cutter from some local parts store and chopped the tail pipe over the rear axle.

edit: No idea why I quoted that post. It's been that day from the moment I rolled out of bed...

I ended up cancelling the order for the exhaust and spent the money on new rotors, pads, and spark plugs. Going to have a maintenance day coming up pretty soon.

 

Agree with everyone, that's a good idea.

On a completely different note, found a couple cool shows on Netflix recently, Dirt Everyday and Roadkill... if you've seen 'em, you know, if not, find 'em.

 

Yep, I watch them every time a new episode comes out on Youtube.

 

Funny, every time I watch one I wish I wasn't watching a 3 or 4 or 5 year old episode. Didn't know they post to YouTube. With that, I'll take my leave and binge some more!

Found a use for the jack cover I won at Jambo last year. Will fiddle with the position a bit more but it looks like it will work.

 

Can you post pics from the front?

 

I know it's in here somewhere but I over looked it in sure so why you changing rear ends?
