It seems like their shocks come with stickers but not coils. Out of the four OME coil boxes I've opened or seen opened, none came with them. All the shock ones did. Weird.
Mine fits with the base plate attached.

Are you selling the factory roof rack and light bar? If so I may be interested.

I'm sure the permatex will hold up great, I removed a light bar off my roof that used the OEM holes and ended up using this 3m sealant gel-type tape after removing the OEM stuff. I even painted over it with OEM touch up paint so it resembles the stock setup:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007Y7CKVO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Haven't had a single leak since application a couple months ago, and I've driven through some torrential storms.

Would honestly probably be even better with the permatex + sealant tape.

It is definitely some interesting tape. It is made from some sort of polymer, and when pressed down kind of form fits the area. It is conveniently also the near exact width of the roof channel. And only one side of it is sticky.

I called Toyota, and Oreilly's looking for a single sided 3m style adhesive like that and no one knew of any. But your probably dead on that it would seal much better with the silicone + tape so I'll order some. I seriously appreciate your link:cheers:

Got tired of the rubber cup holders in the console coming out with the water bottles. Put three strips of double stick tape on each bottom, and a strip between the cupholders, and it's doing fine. We used it all day, and they stayed in place.

Not today, but yesterday I changed the spark plugs on my 2011. Didn't quite hit the 30k mark (33,5xx), but got it done! Went pretty well, especially after removing a couple of hoses and an electrical connector on the driver's side. Realized the socket extension I bought was too short, but made it work.

Did not have a torque wrench though (ordered one, arriving tomorrow), so I tightened them up on the tighter side of snug. Hoping I didn't crank them down too much. Any issues if I did? I used the standard OEM Toyota copper plugs. I can re-seat them next week if you guys think it's an issue. 15 ft/lbs, right? Pretty sure I'm over that, lol.

Cleaned up my headlights with the 3M headlight restoration kit. Pretty easy and took about an hour.

After the OME Dakar install had some vibes on take off. Had the carrier bearing replaced, vibes persisted. Had the drive shaft rebuilt and balanced, shop also fixed a slight bend (.005in at the rear). I am very happy I paid for the extended warranty! Final install tomm and fingers crossed the vibes are gone...image.jpgsorry not a great pic

Drunk on Ebay late one night , bought a large sticker lot specifically to get 3 of these . I like to think they are NOS , but if they aren't I still don't care because I'm retro as fuck and they look good to me . It's a GD emu wearing a helmet ... how could I say no ?
