hey! Made the transition into a tacoma trdOR this past weekend after thoroughly driving every truck on the market and thinking what I'd like to use truck for, weekend off road trips, and what mods would be necessary......needless to say it all came down to this beautiful truck. Can't complain....always thought I'd go full size but this blew me away. Crawl control, MTS all the works I'd need to get my weekend warrior @$$ out of some hairy places....anyways, love the tacoma, wife loves that's "everyday is taco Tuesday now" ✌Kyle

Pics?! It's a bone stock double cab short bed off road, in blue. I'll only document and publish her adventures/mods ... it depresses me to see her stock....

Wife's on board for the lift and tires, I just highly doubt she realizes it's gonna blow a huge chunk lol

You should never feel ashamed for driving a stock Tacoma. That's what we here at Tacomaworld are for. :D

That works out well that you're forced to wait. It gives you a hell of a lot of time to research!! I was in the same boat and was able to confidently pick out (and install) my own lift.

Yah man, Need the reasearch time. Which way did u go on the lift? I'm Between the toytec2-3" suspension kit or bilstein 5100s. Wouldn't mind if I'm starting my research in the correct ballpark....any suggestions are welcome but also not asking anyone to do my homework for me!

No worries man! My goal was a budget lift without sacrificing performance or quality. I ended up deciding on Bilstein 5100s all around, Old Man EMU 885 coils in the front, and a 2" single add a leaf in the rear. This whole set up cost be ~$630 and I installed everything myself. Headstrong Off road offers this exact kit in a nice bundle.
