    For reference here is mine immediately after we installed the Dakars. Literally zero miles on them. They've since settled down and are angled close to 30* to the rear

    Floor mats
    When I had my middle console out figured I'd vacuum underneath. Then I figured I'd vacuum the whole inside.

    Took the passenger floor mat out and the rubber underside was wet. Cloth top was dry. Carpet in the floorboard underneath the mat was wet. It has rained for the past few days.

    If you guys were chasing a cab leak where would you start? :confused:

    I never loosened them...

    Or replaced them when I changed leaf springs... probably rusted.

    Did anyone ever figure out the torque specs for the OME shackles? I remember @Squeaky Penguin maybe mentioning something that the torque spec was to be split up between the two bolts? I always wondered if my stiff ride is because the bolts are over torqued.

    I had a similar leak, it was coming from the grommet on the firewall where the wire harness passes through. I used silicone to seal it.

    That wasn't me, but I use nylocks.

    Tighten until snug, loosen like a half turn. Helps the shackles to move without binding.
