I think it's a union thing or something. Mine is the same way. That or they roll out the trainees when ever it gets busy :)

Very similar story here. Mine was a 92 LX Hatch though, dark blue, all the goodies. Silly fast. I was 21, and very stupid.

When the insurance folks saw the speeding ticket that read "110 mph, and pulling away" they made sure I'd be riding a bicycle for the next 5 years...

    I hate fords.

She's getting better by the minute!!

Rear end is in, front is getting close. It's on the rack over at Cody's shop, Quarter Tilt Kreations.

I had to get the driveshaft built, so that's setting us back a few days, but she should be back together not too long from now. She'll have changed quite a bit since you saw her last...

Ridetech suspension, Wilwood big brake kit, Moser 9" rear, 18"s in front, 20"s out back... still primer gray tho :cookiemonster:

I just blew my load all over the phone screen. Tell me it's a 4 speed manual and I'll do it again

My original love was a 55 Chevy pickup stepside. 350 and 4 on the floor. Where I learned to rev match down shift. It. Was. Amazing. And a death trap...

Since cerberus capital took over safeway it went downhill, not that it was great to start with. The one near me has empty sections on the shelves and the workers all look like tweakers

It is not a stick... YET! It's got a 350/th350 in it now, but next up is motor/trans swap. Motor plans = big and angry. Trans plans=Stick shifted.

Oh I certainly will be. But that's down the road... I blew my entire wad on the brakes, suspension, rear end. It'll take a while before I can build up enough dough for the engine/trans swap. But I'll keep ya in mind.

Still on the fence. Was leaning hard towards LSx for a long time. SO much power available, easy to tune, EFI, basically the whole world is running them in everything now. But then there's that, basically the whole world is running them... not too exciting. Something about a big giant NA big block is appealing. 427, 502? Got room for it in there. My goal is something in the 550-600 hp range.

We'll see... I'll most likely end up going the LS route, but I'm keeping some old school options open too.

Oh and speaking of Wilwood brakes... get em for your Tacoma now!

everything about that post is amazing
    can I be you?
I like the "versatility" of the LSx but also I don't like the fact that everyone and their mother is doing it
that why with my next truck I'm going to put a diesel but i don't want to put a cummins in it because everyone is doing it so I'm doing a 7.3 power stroke
but while i think a big diesel will fit in that chevy I'm sure thats not where you want to go

also 550-600hp :transformer::hattip::thumbsup::cheers::drool: if you didn't already have a family id be proposing to you

do you have a thread for the car or do you have somewhere I can follow your progress???
