Going with a tepui. The Ayer sky model. Plenty big for me & the wife plus only weighs 100lbs. Trying to keep weight down on my truck. They are about 4 house away so I will go test first at their show room make sure I do want that model. If not go to an other one they have.

so after work today I went across the street to the tire place to check out how much for the cooper discovers. They can get me either the st or st max in the the 255/85 size. 1098 mounted balanced with tax for the st maxx, and 1030.72 for the st. How do those prices sound. I was unable to find much online for the these tires in the 255/85 size.

I paid $667 for my 4 tires, they are coming in the mail in a week or two (backordered) and I am unsure how much a shop will charge me to mount and balance. I haven't looked into the labor costs yet.

667 that's good. They charge 20 at this place to mount and balance. So that would 767 then tax. I am going to call a few places get other prices.

I know up this way it's $60 to mount and balance tires...possibly $70-$75 being truck tires

I been searching online and can't find the coopers at anything lower than 210 a tire. Did the math and with out the mount and balance place is charging 235 a tire. I think when I have the money I will just have this place do it for me. I work right next store so it works out well can just leave my truck and grab after work with new tires. Putting in my leveling kit Sunday or Monday then they are doing my alignment Tuesday. Then hopefully by the end of the month I will have cash for tires.

Completely stock 4x4 OR, took mudflaps off yesterday but hoping no more needed mods

No rubbing or complaints, I'm thinking about getting spacers just for looks.

Standard steel rims from wheels and caps.com $55 each I think. Bought four of them to match my spare.

Damn, that's a good price. MSRP on Toyota steelies is ~$145 or so. Thought I did really well at $80 each.

I had 255/85r16 ST Maxxs installed last week and they don't touch my Rek Gen mud flaps, just in case you were wanting to keep some protection.

This is what I’ve been looking for for months! I might have to take a hit on mpg just to run these tires now.
