Is that an OEM bed cover? These mounts do not work on the side rails with the bakflip cover.

Front bed rail, carriage bolt head inside the rail, through the tredpro mount holes and secured with a washer and wing nut.

Have you done anything with your mounts?

I would like to see pics of what people are doing with these mounts.

Just curious, I'm looking into getting a dog ramp soon. Would there be any way to use these brackets to hang or mount a dog ramp above the wheel well not in use for ease of accessibility while keeping it out of the way?

Yes they will mount below your cover. There are a couple pictures a customer posted showing his mounted below the cover.

I would imagine that you could. Do you know what dog ramp you will be getting? You maybe able to mount it like a high lift jack.

I'm still trying to figure out which model I'm going with. That being said, if you have any suggestions, I'm game. However, I would prefer not to bolt it in like a hi-lift jack. That would seem like a pain to unbolt every time I wanted to use it. I was thinking something more along the lines of using your bed mounts with some kind of hook hardware that I can hang the ramp from. Have you seen anything similar to this? Thanks for the response so far!

You could always build one out of wood and attach eyelets that would set on hooks that would attach to the brackets.

Or if you bought one you could drill small holes and attach eyelets. Or hooks on the ramp and holes in the mounts...

The other thing is that you could possible use bungee cords, drill a couple holes in the my mounts for hooks, and that my keep it from sliding around in the back. Depending on how heavy it is...

Or the last option i can think of right now would be have a mounting pin with a clip, that way you just slide the ramp onto the stud and insert the pin to keep it from sliding off..
