Actually thinking back I think I did pay for shipping. My mistake. But the prices are practically unbeatable.

Sup Bros! Going on my first trail this weekend. Will be hitting up Split Mountain out in Anza Borrega. I want to check out those metal sculptures. Leaving Sunday from the 605/5 freeway intersection area. I'll be driving a '17 TRD Offroad. What PSI should I be running while out there. I'm a complete newb to this.

    Welcome!
Congratulations on the new taco
As for tire pressure offroad ~20 psi is a safe place to be. Works well on all types of surfaces. In soft sand you can air down a bit lower to about ~15 psi, and on a hard pack fire road you are safe around ~25psi.
if you have any other questions let us know, otherwise have a safe trip!

Speaking of 2wd... What kind of recovery gear do you guys run with you?

I have TREDS traction boards, an ARB recovery bag with d ring shackles, snatch strap, tree saver strap, and a recently acquired hi lift and lift mate. Oh and I have a Vair air compressor for airing back up

That's a good list, I'd add a quality shovel to it though if you haven't already. Sometimes when you get stuck you just need to dig a little room around your tires to get enough traction to get going again. It will help with using the traction boards too.

At the moment just a recovery strap and 3/4 inch pin for the hitch plus 2 shovels. Will get other stuff as I come across it and have money. Trying to get larger things out of the way first. Lift, lock, and real sliders.

When I had my 2wd Prerunner I found that having weight in the bed was critical when offroading to help give the drive wheels more traction on the ground. I do it even in my 4x4... well I used to except the 300lbs worth of gravel bags I bought exploded on a trip once and I ended up with a bed full of gravel. Need to find something more durable lol.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that I have a shovel. Need to get a stronger one though. Don't think it would hold up on the desert hard pack

Yeah I learned the hard way that a cheap shovel won't do, I keep it mounted to my roof rack most of the time and after several months the weather took its toll (and here in SoCal the weather 'aint bad). Went to use it once and it broke lol.

Forgot to mention I keep a tool bag with common sockets and wrenches. After changing your own suspension you know your way around the truck a little better and what tools you should keep handy if shit goes bad on the trails

Yes I have a tool bag as well. And carry a sawzall and grider, cutting wheel. Plus the air compressor.
