That is the MP5A5; retractable buttstock, 3-round burst trigger group.

    It has an 8.9" barrel.

I initially put a custom made piece at the end of the forearm to keep my hand from sliding off the end and in front of the barrel.

I have since mounted a modified Tango Down grip with friction tape on the handle at the front but still have the limiter there as well.

It's tough for most folks to get there hands on one.

Try the ATF for a list of hoops to jump through.

It is such a blast to shoot and easily controllable with a little practice.

Planning to shoot it requires months of buying ammo as it shoots 13 rounds a second >>>>>>>>>>>>>ZIP!!

Trying to get my hands on an MP5SD3: Retractable buttstock, "SEF" trigger group, integrated suppressor similiar to this one

So is it any harder to get than my 10.5" AR ($200 tax stamp)? Was the gun itself thousands of $? I've shot one a few different times and always wished I'd had one. I don't care for full auto but I love burst fire. Yours is awesome.

If you want one of those MP3SDX you need to come out to the gun show in December. I saw at least 5-6 of these there, for sale. It's the Small Arms Review (SAR) show FYI.

PS. Nice looking guns and I hate you already :p

Here are pics of my 3 newest guns I picked up since Christmas. I have quite a few more guns than this but they are actual photographs. I need to take digitals of them anyway, as soon as I get new batteries, I'll snap some.

Sig P226 .40 all stainless (came with night sights)... For now just Hogue finger grips and two extra mags. Waiting for Viridian to release their new green laser later this year.

GSG-5PK... With Fakeotech sight, Hogue slip grip, two extra full size but CA compliant 10 round mags.

    Sig 522LR

Red/green dot sight. I have two Black Dog mags I use because I don't like the gray colored mag that came with it ha. I also added a Hogue slip grip that feels awesome.

I'm also modding my Mossberg 500 and will post pics of that when the parts come in next weekend.

How do you like the Sig 522? I am kinda looking for a new .22lr and I am thinking that I may go with the Sig over the Ruger or S&W.

I like all my guns. I liked the Sig 522 and the GSG-5 both but couldn't justify having those 2 rifles plus my Ruger 10/22, so I went with the Sig because I felt the quality was/would be better being a Sig, plus I liked the way it looks just a hair more. I still really liked the GSG-5's, so I split the difference between rifle and handgun and got the GSG-5PK instead ha.

I don't have any complaints with the 522. It doesn't care much for remington 525 bulk packs but likes Winchester 333's. Found out 3 of my .22's don't like the Rems very much and I have tons of it, so hopefully my ruger will shot it better. Rems won't even chamber in my target pistol but 333's work fine in it. Haven't been able to find any Federal bulk packs in months, so haven't been able to test those yet. To me the Sig feels extremely well ballanced and I love the way it feels. I have seen some of the other tactical .22's in person but don't think I have seen the S&W in person yet. To me the cheapest feeling one I held was the Colt.

I just got back from Big5 and they had the S&W. Since they didn't have the ammo I was looking for I checked out the S&W. I didn't like it at all. If you want a really lightweight gun, you might like it. It really did feel light, like a kids toy. Looked ok but felt like it was all plastic. I guess when you add ammo, and a scope/red dot, it will give it a little more heft but sure seems way lighter than my Sig. I tend to like heaver guns.

my 10/22 will eat the Rem. golden bullets all day long. Ive shot countles bricks of that stuff through it, back when they were 10 bucks for the 500+ pack.... I still either use that stuff or CCI. the federal brick ammo wont shoot more than 4 rounds before getting a miss fire. I havent tried the win 333's yet though

That's close to what my current build will look like. SBR with a Knight Silencer, ACOG and vertical grip delete is the only difference. Same Furniture.

Is that a Daniel Defense hand guard?
I got a Larue 7" for it sitting here, but for the price I may just send it back for the DD 7". If so, does it fit nice in the palm or does it feel bulky. I can't stand vertical grips, so its fit is important.
