Barcelona red... kinda sorta.... recovery hook paint job. Meh..

The driveway stains are from my '10 F150.

 

It's not a Pro. It's an Off Road. I added the Pro grill and foglights. But it should fit fine. The bumper doesn't get to the crossmember it bolts to. My stock piece of tin "skid" isn't anywhere near it.

 

New additions are wheels, tires, topper, rack and space box.

 

So, 2016 trd sport 4x4 Tacoma purchased new in April 2016
Just got the tsb done. Truck drives completely different
Pedal is way firmer so flooring it now takes real intent (I like it)
Truck feels a tiny bit sluggish but I'm sure it'll improve after a few hundred miles where the truck learns my style again. He did a lot of work on my truck, they had it for 3 days
Got my 15k service, got my breaks replaced. Got alignment done to get rid of a clunk that started on the front right side (they said my LCA was hitting my skid plate)
Steering feels waaayyy tighter now which I'm undecided on how I feel about that, and the truck got a new head unit update (already had the first one that came out)

I'll report back once I've driven the truck more but I will say my mileage went down from 16-18mpg in town down to 12-14mpg

unfortunately nothing new on my Taco, still waiting on the new grill to arrive and carbon fiber vinyl to wrap my hood scoop and looking for a set of running boards here in Guam (easier said than done unfortunately)

 

You already have your brakes replaced at 15K?

I'm really really liking everyone's pics with the TRD Pro "Heritage" grill mod. I'm thinking about ordering one for my black Taco. I'm sure it'll look great on an SR5 too, right?

 

I'm on 265/75r16 KO2's. I'm going to be doing a CMC and whatever trimming I need too, to fit 285/75r16's.

Well, I started my install of all my various electrical projects...made a bit of progress before the rain and plastic stopped me for a later date. Who knew there was so much stuff to take out to install this lower dash valence!? It looks like I have to take the whole center console out. Also, the ML-ACR remote switch just baaaarrreeellly doesn't fit, so it looks like Mr. Dremel will be rejoining me for this adventure.

I started to make a dash disassembly video though, for anyone attempting this in the future. When I finally get everything all apart I'll go ahead and post it up for people. There's a lot of stuff that's all interlocked n stuff.

 

When do ppl usually rub? On the trail when their flexing the rig? Or during everyday driving? (Talking about 285's)

 

Cut the bracket that was rubbing on coolant hose .. thanks to the forum for calling the issue out .
