oswego: i got my SWR meter in the mail on monday, set it all up today. My swr is around 1.6-1.7 or so on Ch 1 & Ch 40. I get a lot of static and was picking up some transmissions, but when i turn down the squelch i wasn't getting anything. I'm gunna try and tune it again tommorow where there is a lot of open space, and around here finding open space isn't going to be easy lol.

mikey D, i'm in the red bank area so we are pretty close to eachother, i'm trying to get some interest for the weekend of the 20th( sat or sun).
