@Tacoma Mike For what it's worth, my Mother just went through breast cancer surgery then 36 treatments after. I didn't feel she was strong enough @ 74 to get through this terrible deal. But with many prayers and the grace of our Heavenly Father she made it. Recent tests proved she is cancer free. I know first hand it's hard, but have faith! Prayers to you and family.

I along as others were worried about you. I can't fathom what yall are going thru.
I've been going thru my own nightmare but nothing compared to what yall are.

Yes.
My favorite part of growing up in the Piedmont was that 90 mins east was the bay and ocean, then 90 mins west were the mountains. I do love Alaska, but to this day, I miss the Fall colors; in particular driving the Shenandoah Parkway every October.

 

Do you not have beautiful fall colors with the trees up there?

As for the work part, it is just another example of upper management trying to justify their stupid salaries. The crap I go through after 30 years sounds similar, they have threatened my job over meaningless 'data'.

Pretty...but nothing like the brilliance and range of east coast colors. Plus, this far north, some years the leaves change one week, a big wind comes up the next week to blow them all off, and then the brown of winter ... only gets pretty when frosted/snowed over.
