    Ha I was gonna say that too. Looked like at least 295. Wondering if I could fit those or maybe 305/70's since I have 33" now. Doubt I'd fit 315 tho.

    And x2! Ugh. I'm trying my hardest to justify all new wheels and tires just so I can do the tundra brakes. Lol. I really should get proper fitting wheels. But damn, it's gonna be like $2k for wheels tires and brakes.

    It's normal. The Tundra calipers have slightly larger Piston's. Causing the pedal to be a little lower. Make sure your rears are adjusted up good. If there not it will add to the pedal being lower.

    To add to the list... Does anyone have any quick links to the rear brakes for us? Will be replacing everything I can. Drums, shoes, hardware, pistons, etc. Trying to plan all this out and do everything at once when the time comes.

    Ha yeah I've been hearing great things about them. But it's mostly ridiculous tire prices that get me. Prices actually seem to jump up quite a bit going to metric with 16's from 15's. Couple hundred more looks like. Ugh. I may have to start looking into some used tires, or wait for better deals.

    Yep, my 33's looked awesome with 2" lift. Now they look tiny with 3". Wished I could go 35's, then Thatd be about the right perspective with the new lift.

    Just parts. And what brands people recommend. Haven't looked into it much yet. Looked a bit at how to vids already, so pretty confident in the rear install. Figured someone might have a good write-up tho with recommended parts/brands and their sources.. Maybe something I haven't thought of yet too regarding any other components worth inspecting/replacing besides the basics.. Just haven't searched. Would be good to have it all in this one thread for quick reference when the time comes. Seeing as the front is pretty much covered in here.

    Rears you can use any known brand brake shoe. I'd replace the wheel cylinders, shoes and at minimum have the rear drums turned/resurfaced. There's not a performance upgrade or anything that you really do to drum brakes. Just make sure they're adjusted properly. Clean up the hardware and were the shoes rub the backing late, make sure it's smooth. Apply a light thin coat of silicone grease just to the small contact area of the shoe to backing plate. If you have 2 different length shoe braking surfaces. The short one go's in front. It's considered the lead shoe.

    I'm getting more used to the pedal feel now. They definitely more capable in terms of stopping power than the stock brakes. When I first fit the new wheels and 265/75R16s, I sometimes wasn't sure if the truck was ever going to stop when I was pushing hard on the stock brakes, haha. The Tundras feel like they will stop as hard as you can push the pedal. I imagine with your tires you will notice the difference even more.

    And yeah, I think anything would look good with these wheels! Still can't stop staring at them!

    update.
    I'm all ready for the brake swap for this weekend. but come to find out EBC packaged the wrong brakes. right serial number on box but the rotors only had 5 lugs and not 6lug. which was a huge disappointment so now I have to get a response back from their sales manager for a solution.

    So, you don't need special tacoma to tundra brake lines, correct?
