My set went on yesterday along with my OME / Nitrocharger coils from Headstrong. Took me a few minutes to realize there was a 10mm slot milled into the bottom of the shaft to keep the balljoing from rotating while tightening down the nut, other than that they UCA's were way easier to do than dealing with trying to thread that coilover in between everything to get it in place.

Installed mine yesterday, it was really much easier than I was expecting, and all my rumbles and grumbles that my front end used to give me are gone! Smooth as butter baby!

Fixed my rubbing on the drivers side too... but also introduced rubbing on my passenger side lol. Alignment coming Wednesday...

Are a lot of people running these with 35s? I ordered a set of std high caster. Happy with the build quality, the chevy ball joint integration and the articulation capabilities. Installed them last week and I rub a decent amount on the flat lip where it connects to the tubular arm when turning. I was not even close with stock uca but know that's apple and oranges. I ordered a set of spidertrax but will have to tub the firewall if I keep this setup. The only other option I see is different uca. Has anyone else run into this situation?

    I'm running SCS SR8 17"

I think the sr8 are 4.30 bs and don't think it's enough to clear the uca. I still have a good half a turn of the steering wheel to go. But... the same setup works on one truck and not another. Let me know how it turns out.

With the 4.5bs i had to stop about a 1/4 turn before full lock.Just the edge of the tire treadblock would rub on the flat spot. I think it sticks out farther than the stock arms cause i didnt rub at all on those. Waiting on tires now so we'll see how it goes. Might clear if you go to 33's

Yeah Im starting to wish I went with different UCA's.. first thing I came across was the rubbing issue. with 4.5" BS wheels and 0mm offset.. and 285's.
So I had to get wheels spacers, (which JBA should reimburse me for.)
Then I got different wheels with 4.75" BS and up'd my tire size to 34"x11.5" on 17" wheels. and I have to run the 3/4" wheel spacers in order to clear ofcourse.

Then there was the moog ball joint issue of them rusting to shit in 4 months. grease leaking all over and the ball joint not sealed in the boot, water and dirt easily got inside. So then I got there new Ball joints, the Stainless ones that are definitely better in design and quality but still the boot doesnt totally seal and grease comes out.
So after all that, I couldve bought Total Chaos UCA"s and been done. Ive had them in the past and they are awesome. So what if you have to keep the Uni-ball clean and lubed. It wasnt that bad to keep up on.

Fix the quirks and kinks JBA and your UCA's could be a great buy!!!

No worries, and yeah the boot on the moog's didnt seal at all. The top iner was wide open, so when you grease them the grease just comes out the top and I had water and dirt get in there. I didnt want to wait till they failed in few months up here in the PNW. So I just got his new ST Ball Joints.

I would of never thought of that. Will these work with 285's on stock wheels with 1.25 inch spacers?

Has anyone ran these JBA's with 17" Method NV wheels?? I've got these but am concerned about fitment with 285's bc the backspacing on my wheels is 4.75.

Worried about UCA rubbing the tire?

I know with an 18'' 4.5bs they will rub...so its a pretty good possibility 17'' with 4.75 will rub.

@Taco1999 I was afraid of that. Reckon I'll have to look elsewhere, I do not want to have to deal with UCA tire rubbing=headache.

I could add wheel spacers, but I'm ot sure if wheel spacers would help to clear the UCA enough.
