I know of an 2002 Double Cab 4X4 that has 2009 TRD Off-Road 16" wheels on it with no issues.

Had fun on the trails today with 9 other Tacomas! Everything was going smoothly right up until the point where it wasn't.

Put LEDs in the third brake light. All the 168 type bulbs changed now. Ran it through the car wash and vacuumed out. Need to pick out tires soon as the factory Dunflops are weather checked and don't have shit for traction.

I had the unfortunate circumstance of adhesive remover splatter on my right taillight leaving some noticeable tarnish. I wet sanded the taillight with 2000 grit sandpaper and followed up with two applications of Meguiars Ultimate Polish. It looks much better, like it never happened.

Before i installed the new airbag in the cover, i popped the emblem out. Its held in with a number of pegs that protrude through the cover. The pegs get glued/epoxied into place. I cut them to remove the emblem. I then sanded the emblem with 400 and 800 grit sandpaper to rough up the chrome color. After thoroughly cleaning, i used Duplicolor spray paint (3-4 light coats). The applied 2 light coast of duplicolor top coat.

After thoroughly drying, (24 hours), i used some CA glue (superglue), and activator to re-apply the emblem to the cover.

A word to the wise - best to replace the emblem with the air bag assembly still out of the truck, or at least with the horn fuse/batter disconnected.
