If you have the Viar 88p compressor be sure to carry spare fuses for it. Mines blown a fuse 3 times now and the first time I didn't have spares and had to cruise out on 14 psi, felt like steering a boat

Thanks for the heads up on that. That is some thing I need to pick up. BTW why didn't you just barrow a fuse from the trucks fuse panel?

i keep a stick of the quicksteel epoxy in my tool bag too. I've had to use it a few times before just not on a trail yet but i like how easy it is to work with.

Have fun! Split Mtn trail is a great beginning spot for being off road! The canyon's are really awesome. You will have no problem at all on that trail. I recommend you stop by the slot canyons too on your way to Split mountain. It's on the same main road.

Lastly, if you're going to air down, I would pickup a portable air compressor at Pepboys so you can air back up when you leave the trail and head home.

Didn't think of that lol. That's a good idea though

Yeah they're cheap and easy to find at any hardware store, good to have on hand just in case. My compressor lasted awhile before the fuse thing became an issue, I think I've probably just overworked it once or twice letting other people on the trail use it right after me

I gotta get myself a portable air compressor as well. Definitely worth it.

Nope. I was close for a bit, but the top two guys had nearly triple the votes I had by the end. 3rd out of 5 is way better than I had expected to do though! The whole socal section had my back which was awesome!
It was for a set of retrofit headlights.

I actually just wrapped up doing a set of BHLM headlights for @SocalOC

And I'll build my own retrofits. It would have been awesome to win some though!
