Hello all, assuming i fit into this group (52 this july) just stopping in to pay my RESPECTS and say "hello"
As i assume many of you have, i am struggling with getting older (though looking forward to retirement next year)
and considering the thought of social communication with my peers ( i tend to be an absolute loner, though married (go figure).

So, its saturday night, the family has left for the holiday weekend, and i report to work in less than 5 hours for work (i'm a corrections officer for the largest facility in our state)

Bit of a newb for an older social participant on a website, but always found TW to be welcoming

evening boys!!! Nothing better than seeing babies say "airplane" and get to see them and touch them. The amazement in their faces is awesome....

Holding ice pack on my knee nothing like stepping in a hole while out looking at airplanes, holding a 3 month old baby, landing on one's knees. Ouch. But, baby never touched the ground!!!!

I never learned why they do that , I do know they burn off the fields now and then again no idea when or how they figure out it should be done. I can tell you the low bushes come back faster after a burn then the high and that raking low bushes sucks even when your a teen ager lol . Moreover , putting blueberry hay on low bushes for the winter is easier too lol And now my knowledge is at an end lol strong back weak mind when I was younger :} LOL
