Morning Jim and the rest of yall. I did open wall on mom's porch where I'm relocating water heater and piping for a softener. Seems the brick lug is down further from the slab level for some reason. So I could actually cut deck boards back so siding isn't buried behind. Idk. May also be more work than needed. May just seal it.

The dog biscuit story involves camping in a remote part of Upper Michigan. Provisions being stored in non descrip Tupper Ware containers. A week of beer, a little :rasta:, late nite campfires. Whoever made these cookies, there pretty good.:rofl::rofl:I will say in his defense, we were young.

Sorry to hear Chris. I didn't sleep good either. Kinda overdid it at moms but I gotta get past the curve. Have to get my stuff ready for foam. And electrician needs to finish attic first also.

 We might actually be related

My quality of life got so much better when my Kristi and I finally acknowledged and agreed on the following two points:
    1) I don't like to go shopping; more honestly stated--I hate shopping.
    2) She enjoys shopping much more without me.

She no longer asks, nor expects, me to go shopping. She only asks me if I need anything.

... Follow that gut instinct buddy ;)

 Yeah, very slim chance that doesn't come up. :cookiemonster:

I opened wall on porch behind washer to pull overhead water lines down and I had a feeling there wasn't a trap. I was right.

Seems one drain goes to septic and one goes to gray water. Either way should be trapped and vented. I may use an auto vent which is okay with IPC code. Or I make another roof vent there. Idk.

:sorry: for all the headaches with the house ... projects sure do seem to find you, then beat you up. Stay in the fight Brother, it'll pay off in the long run.

I have a tendancy to get tired of the shopping thing real quick not to mention the standing around and slow moving on the concrete kills my back so I always end up bitchy. I ony wanted to go so I could go to Pep Boys and get a compressor. Maybe I'll just get them to go or I'll order online

Thanks. Yea I've done a lot in past month. Nothing had been done in over 10 years. We knew homeowner did the house himself. He was better at wood than plumbing. I'll fix it.

I honestly think our (guys) patience gets shorter as we pass into our 50s; I never, ever, enjoyed shopping, but I'd tolerate going along ... my tolerance for standing around and waiting while she browses etc, just isn't there any more. I can only imagine how any kind of back pain etc would amplify that. Make the Pep Boys run by yourself, or yeah, on-line. I'll bet if you discussed it with your Christie, she'd acknowledge she enjoys shopping more without you. :notsure:

Congrats to your town on doing it right for Memorial Day. Respectful for those that paid the ultimate price and yet festive. Thanks for volunteering at the grill.

Good save with the grand kid Sue. I would do anything I have to for the grand kids. I hope your knee is okay and not seriously hurt. The magic Elixir would fix the knee right up. 3 shots (orally) and you wouldn't even know you had knees...and if you tried to walk, you'd forget you had legs:cheers::drunk::D.

It can be only purchased on the Island of St. Martin. Many stores there carry it and most people that visit the island sample the many flavors and end up buying on of the flavors. Banana vanilla is my favorite. If you know of anyone heading down on a cruise or stay, ask them to pick you up a bottle.

Take her along dumpster diving at junk yard.

Yea and I pass a herd of free ranging black buck antelope. I won't shoot them. Rare to see them out of high fence ranches. I asked mom if she'd like a feeder and she said yes. I have a 600 gal water tank set up already. I need to move it oak trees are dumping into it.
