    Still reading. I consider this to be an important decision, because I like the Tacoma to be a 200K+ vehicle. And I want to say all 200K were mine.

    DCLB would be my vote over access cab. Get more cab space and the 6ft bed for work. If you don't want to haul people, just tell them no or keep enough stuff in the back seat to not have room for people :devil:

    IMO, the Tacoma SR (4x4 if needed) 4cyl 5 speed MT access cab is the most bullet proof truck truck being produced by any manufacturer.
    If 200k + is your main requirement, I would start there.
    Just my $.02

    My first 3 Tacomas were all access cabs, and I've learned my lesson. My 4th Tacoma will also be an access cab.

    I've got a 9 month old now and absolutely love my ac 4cyl 5 speed.... we go everywhere in it!! And it's nice bc I can actually reach him while driving if I need to!! The only thing I regret about mine is buying used instead of ordering new.... the only reason I didn't is bc nobody had a new one in my area and I found used for a good price

    And it would be nearly impossible to get in the garage. I would probably just get a full size truck instead of going DCLB but that's just me.

    The DCLB removes most of the main reason for getting a midsize truck, which is maneuverability and "parkability".

    Damn, tell me about. Last month Longo Toyota. The biggest dealer in Southern California, out of about 120 Trucks they only had 1 little 4cyl Tacoma Access Cab. and not a single MT. I thought that was ridiculous.
