    The Civil War was ANYTHING but civil. It may have been the most savage and bloody conflict the US will ever be involved in. Just be thankful that the two great warriors that met that day at Appomattox Court House understood their roles in history and ended the war the best way they knew.

    Many more died in the days following. There are no winners in war, only the worst loser.
