What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

It lifts branches and brush away from the truck. In the PNW we usually don't bother with them cause w get so scratched up from the low branches anyway.

 

Started the day off and got my Ray10s mounted (thanks to @YodasTaco)

Then installed some retrofits from @hyper15125


And after all that I decided to give it a bath and a new cabin + air filter.

Completely changed the way it looks with just a few changes

Had these welded on today.

 

Gave her a bath. Can't wait to mount my RAY10s on the Coopers and have all my Brute Force armor ready! Die broness

Cool! I guess people around my area are not that gentle lol. I guess since the meltdown is done the truck doesn't damage the trail so people are not mad at you... I guess I should try haha! Atv trails around here are pretty cool

 

And I got the front flares on

 

I had to cut a lot of the new Bushwacker flares to clear the 285s

 

Pressure-washing all the mud off of my truck today.

 

50% of the time. Depends if some idiot forgot how to drive too... Lots of variables! Lol

Missing my taco while it's at the dealer waiting for Springs to arrive.

No my F350 didn't fail but this stupid rental 2017 jeep renegade lights didn't turn off when I locked it. Battery dead after seeing Alien covenant.

Lucky the hot fake blonde chick parked near by had AAA and called for me.

AAA guy forgot to put the batter cover back on. I hope the hood isn't damaged.

With 136k mi on the clock on my 2008 taco, I just replaced my original drive belt. Old belt is not as bad as expected. You can do it in as little as 20 min.

 

Coming to my truck in about 4ish weeks from Belair Shells in Garden Grove CA!

It will look basically the same as this.. with the windoors, tailgate kept, surfboard racks, ect. The only change will be two more inches in height and blue stripes to match my beloved surfy tacoma! I'll be sharing pics of the build out and searching the forums for questions.

If anyone wants to share some early thoughts, I'm excited to listen and learn!

 

Welcome to TW, lots of great info on here and lots of great people who are willing to help. Post some pictures of your truck, because everyone loves pictures.
Edit: hopefully they will line up the accent stripes better on yours than the one you have pictured.

 

I paid around $24k for my 2013 OR 6 speed, and it's also a double cab. For an '09, it seems like a lot...

 

I'm not planning on buying it. I've found another gem to go look at this weekend! Only wish it was a manual.
