Oh I'd drive to the base of that and look, then go find some shade and a cold beer. I'm stock with the exception of going to 265/75 from the 265/70 tires. Some don't have a lot of disposable income for hot rods and lifts. :ballchain: :poking:

Honestly, these new automatic transmission are amazing. I absolutely love the 8 spd in my RAM; ... from a previously die hard manual trans guy.
    - and mated to the 5.7 Hemi I'm averaging a solid 19-20 MPG Summer and 16-17 MPG Winter. My 4cyl 5spd Tacoma averaged 20-21 Summer and 18-19 Winter. But when I put my foot down in the RAM, "Katie bar the door" ... we're moving down the road.
    :burnrubber:

Rear tires? ... if you're lucky it'll be shored to keep the rims off the deck. :der:

My "mod" money goes into my hunting and fishing rigs (6x6 Ranger side by side, Yamaha Grizzly). If I break one of them, I can afford to let them set in my garage until I want/can afford to fix. :fistbump: You're not alone there.

I know there are more powerful trucks and I know a small car goes faster and zips through traffic. I also know I have a lead foot and am fine driving the lifted taco. It keeps me in check.

I've eaten chicken for 3 days straight now. Would love a BLT! Was thinking of making chicken cordon blue tomorrow, and doing a bacon weave around it to help hold the cheese in. But had enough chicken for awhile. Just took some home made Canadian bacon ends out of the freezer to thaw, I know they are going into some beans tomorrow. Just not sure what else to grill or smoke with it. But pretty sure it will involve bacon. Just read a recipe for grilling bacon then adding romaine lettuce and avocado. It said 2 slices of bacon. Pffft, immediately changed that to a package of bacon! I'll have a little lettuce with my bacon please...

I haven't sunk a fortune in mine either. Is it lifted and modded? Yes but only due to snow overtime, generosity of friends, Christmas and some really good used stuff. Don't underestimate how great your truck is just like it is.

This is the kind of trouble you can get yourself into with a lifted truck. This is the northern Va group yesterday

Not shorting anybody or the truck but should have been thought out a little better.

So I guess I really must be the asshole i thought I was. I told the daughter when she came home that I remembered I needed to return 1 of her new wipers because it didn't fit correctly and she says oh her boyfriends dad fixed it. I told her oh thanks for not believing me I've only been doing this shit for 30 years but fine he can fix it next time. I'd only spent 15 minutes already looking at it. It will come rt off if you pull on it good it doesn't latch but hey he's the engineer wtf do I know apparently nothing and I'm an asshole for saying anything

If I didn't hunt and fish, I wouldn't work my current 2nd career.

But that's a mute point, 'cuz if I didn't hunt and fish...I'd be DEAD! ... I mean graveyard DEAD. ;)

"in check" ... sure thing Pal. pffft

Today ends my red meat week. On deck, halibut and salmon week...stay tuned. ;)

17yo me may or may not have done something very similar in a 1973 F100 two days before Christmas 1980. Only solo truck (me and a buddy) at midnight; had to walk out about 5 miles and then spent most of Christmas Eve day recovering the truck. :anonymous:
