I certainly want to and hope to ... time will tell. If we, or just I do, I want it to be in Fall when the colors are on strong. My Chief lives in Manchester, NJ; he's 65 now, and I damn sure don't want the next time I see him to be a funeral.

Yes, numerous times when I had my Tacoma in the dealer; and especially when I looked to get a 2015 Tacoma when I was so turned off by the appearance of the 3rd Gen Tacoma (no offense to anyone here), the redesign just never really appealed to me. :notsure: None of the 2015 Tacomas left on the lot up here were what I was looking for, and for this purchase I had made up my mind I was gonna buy brand new (just something I decided I wanted).

My main personal factors against the Tundra were:
    1) front end appearance; I just don't like Toyota's recent styling cues, particularly the front ends. I don't even particularly like the Highlander front end parked in my garage.
    2) fuel economy; three friends at work have them, love them, but complain constantly about the MPGs they are getting.

Additionally, my newest DIL (then son's fiancee) bought a RAM 1500 Crew Cab Sport in Summer 2015. I liked it whenever I rode with them anywhere in it; and I was impressed with the 8 spd 5.7 Hemi match up from the git go. As a reminder, I bought my 2015 on a closeout deal March 24, 2016.

I have heard the mileage sucks just about as bad . I can't bring myself to buy a dodge nor a ford so it is chevy or gmc lol if I was to do it . But I really would like a Diesel something nothing huge but pull power is what I want.

    Those are Canadian made, no?

Folks say good things about the RAM 1500 EcoDiesel ... but if you're anti-Dodge, that's the end of that. Truck brand preference can get like discussing oil brands.

Well take a look at them they make 17, 19, 21 and a 5th wheel that can be towed by our trucks no muss no fuss. But you are talking about a 30k investment getting one used is very very hard they generally do not last long when posted think less then 2 weeks some are gone in a day or two. If you want to order one you can deck it out for full off grid and have all sorts of things done unlike any other maker they will do a lot with in reason of course.

If you want to see one there are some in your area contact the company they will set it up . You will go view an owners they do not have a dealer ship anywhere in the US so most of us agree to show ours when requested and if the person buys one we get 200 bucks from them. Warranty is not an issue they will pay to have anything that is covered fixed if you can't do it yourself with them supplying the parts.

Ya, the problem with your camper, or even an "off road" or "trail rated" camper is It wouldnt have made it to where I was. I just think these RTT companies need to put a little more thought into it. Oh well, Ill figure it out.

If Kristi ever changes her mind on the camper idea ... I'd make the road trip to where they build them to buy one. That's the rig @OZ-T was looking into; don't know if he ever closed the deal on one?

Not to my knowledge he didn't he and I talked about it quite a bit. The price vs return is different since there are so few of them here . Take her to see one she might but make sure it is a 19 or 21 the only thing I am not the biggest fan of is wet bath. But the light weight and less maintenance then almost any other trailer lets me be ok with it .

Id probably be able to get an adventure trailer or something similar to where I was and where I want to go. But there again your talking about a RTT. It will be O.K. I will just have to do some different things. Couple more tubs with blankets, pillows, extra "mattress" padding. etc.
