Buy south and you'll be fine. Just ask for a Carfax so you can see the history. If you buy from up North then you have to worry about frame. You can also negotiate like a mofo if they didn't do the leaf spring recall and there are a few others. I bought mine down in SC for a steal back in 2010. My bet is you will find a bunch in Florida , which would be a perfect place to buy.

I've been driving 2WD in the snow for years and had no issues. And they were terrible vehicles. 4WD only helps you start, they stop all the same.

 

look on craigslist. Most likely Ill be going between Fredericksburg and NJ/NY to get a headlight, and possibly some other parts. Totally worth a 6 hour drive for a $50 headlight
