What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

First post thought I would wait till I had something to offer. Here it is 2017 Tacoma Pro:
SCS Stealth 6 16x8 3.5 BS w/ Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/75/16. Slight rub in contour of front fender liner.

Rugged Cover II
Tufskinz raised black letters
Door sill liners
Hondo radio knobs
Husky liners

 

Nice truck! Did you have to modify anything for the sliders to mount up?

Typical but I love the aggressive stock look, all these mods before my first oil change... breaking the bank

 

Nothing major oversized a hole and shortened a bolt. Good fit.

 

Post Painting Pinch weld black. It's nuts how much it helps with the body line in person.

 

Installed a usb charger behind overhead panel for go pro and locking doors on bed boxes. Used the power for the visor mirror lights for the usb charger. Voltage automatically shuts off if truck isnt running so I dont have to worry about running truck battery down when truck sits for a long time.

For Memorial Day I just want to say to all you guys, you rock... 1st gens, 2nd gens, 3rd gens, doesn't matter at all. We're all Americans and we should be proud, and we should be very grateful for all those who have served our country and our countryman who served but especially those who gave their lives for us. My wife got me a bed mat and a yeti 65 for my birthday... then she told me she bought them with my credit card. Oh well, it's the thought that counts haha.

Bought a Toyota hitch plug for when I'm not towing, and my new tires showed up over the weekend. Waiting on the wheels now.

 

But also 5% tint all around, sliders, and tires.

 

Finally got to install my fox 2.5 w/ res and total chaos upper control arms. Love it. A lot. Will post better pics tomorrow.

So I could build Fort Kick-Ass for the kids

 

The tracks are made specifically for the 16,17 Tacoma. You remove the black strip and the track takes its place. You use 3 of the factory bolt holes and 3 rivets. You do have to drill the holes for the rivets. Not difficult. The tracks are Rhino and the rack is Yakima. Only thing I had to do was grind off the square nuts that slip into the tracks that the carrier bolts too! The Yakima nuts were a fraction too big to fit.
