Softopper should be delivered today! It's suppose to rain most of the weekend I think so I'll be installing it and then heading to the beach. The fish are biting and now Ill have a dry place in the bed to sit!

Just ordered a new car Wash brush, TRD center caps, 1/2in breaker bar and deep sockets (10mm to 24mm), and new Yakima ski racks.

I stole my dad's when my old ones from the stone ages shit the bed. Now that the fish are biting and the parents are close to being moved in, hes going to need his back.

    :woot:

Who would of thought Yakima knew I liked gunmetal. I ordered these racks off Amazon thinking they would be black and red, but i like these much better!

Also got my breaker bar and almost all my center caps... Totally botched the initial order and only ordered 1 but it had a 1 week ship time. Then ordered three more which are now eligible for Prime 2 day shipping so...

Over the last few weeks I have thinking on what direction (if any) I want my build to go in. The truck is setup pretty nicely for surf fishing as of now.

I have never traveled much, and I've only been to 15 states (driving through included) and all but two are on the East Coast.

I've decided to gun for a 2 year plan. Take off work for about 3 weeks and just drive West. My truck should be about paid off by then, and that should give me enough time to save the money to get the truck a bit more EXPO ready.

I hope to be able to drive cross country or at least hit as many national parks as I can in that time frame. I would have to say, this site is what has given me the bug to attempt this with all the beautiful rigs on here.

@ChadsPride got a link to the bolt on sliders you bought? I don't want to dig through the cluttered BS thread you have to find my answer. I need something that doubles as a step for short people haha

Whoops, I think I missed your question Chad... I don't check this very often.

The striper was caught on what we call an Eastern Shore Sammich.. Sea clam and Peeler crab. Caught right around the last of the ebb tide which is a bit unusual.

I installed a KB Voodoo tailgate cap to give me a place to attach the Velcro for my ST. This thing is nice and Stout and makes the tailgate feel alot better.

Started to plan and make a list for what I need to acquire do my cross country trip. I'm thinking my goal is to see Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Oregon, and Utah.

    Recovery Gear:
    Tow strap
    Kinetic strap
    D Rings
    Traction Boards (4)
    Mobtown Recovery Bar
    Axe
    Plano Case

    Truck:
    Bolt On Sliders
    Off Road Jack
    Softopper Rack
    Rtt
    Trim Exhaust
Communications (need to do some research)
    Rear Extended Shock
    Rear AirBags or Dakar's

    Camping:
    RTIC Cooler
    Camp Table
    Awning or Pop Up

I proposed the idea to a buddy of mine who has a little Subaru CrossTrek (I can twist him arm into buying a Taco I think). If he decides not to go, I'll probably sack up and buy a winch cradle.
