I ended up ordering 80w-90 Motorcraft oil on Amazon. I should have looked in my manual Toyota claims 80w-90 is fine. Eaton does not recommend synthetic oil or oil with limited slip additives with a True Trac.

Yeah I think it's a connection error now, bought a new motor just in case from Autozone and it worked but then I realized I have to tap for the screws to go into the new motor. So I plugged the old one on with out any weight on it and it worked. :frusty:

So I think it's the switch. That's what I'm gonna dig into now

Found that it's the $140 one so that's good. But I bet dealership won't have it not to mention it'll be more expensive. Just hope I can get my damn window up for the week :fingerscrossed:

Procomp 7069 16x8, and decided to try the Procomp extreme MT2 285s. They look a little too big to me, but they ride great and did great in the mud yesterday

Eaton loosened it's mineral gear oil requirement on Tru-trac's last year to : Any quality GL5 gear oil syn or conventional with no FM or additives.
It's believed among some people, myself included, that Eaton never tested their unit's Cof with synthetic and therefore couldn't recommend it.
I myself have over 40K in my front tru-trac running Redline syn 75-90. Since I run manual hubs I estimate 5k miles on the unit with reliable strong engagements and no clunks or other noise fwiw.
