Yeah, gotta trim big time. I probably chop up some of those bushwhacker clones and bolt them to the fender to clean it up, but eventually I'll have fender bars that I will attach rubber liner to and act as a fender flare to cover the tire.

Thanks everyone! Feels good having it on the ground, but I still have a long way to go. Definitely a big motivator!

So now that the SAS is pretty much done except for steering and bumpstops, I thought I should get the twin sticks and manual t case completely done and get my interior back together.
Had to hack off the corner of the shift console. Doesn't matter cause the hole it bolts to is gone anyway.
    IMG_2031.jpg
I am going out towards the passenger side and back a little, and then up through the long slotted cubby. I gotta fab up some off set bars. I cut off the twin sticks at different heights so one can go over the other.
    IMG_2032.jpg
Hopefully it works out well :)

Well, so much for the ARB compressor being under the hood! I didn't realize how enormous the PSC power steering fluid reservoir is. It's more important to have the resi above the PS pump than having the compressor there. So I used the Slee off road bracket and made a large aluminum plate to mount the resi to. Should also act as a huge heat sink. There is also room in front to mount other stuff to. Compressor is probably gonna end up in the cab behind the rear seat.

Yep. Figuring out the HA system, and what to do about the steering shaft. Not sure if I'm gonna notch the shock tower, or grab some more universals and try and go around it...

For sure. That's the nice thing about building it yourself. I'm learning a lot, and I'll be a master at assembling and disassembling of my truck

I also finally installed my rear extended brake lines just now. Little things...

No idea. I bought it used on CL. Was only used for mock up tho. I think it's the 22re pump with a pulley for the V6, and I had to make spacers to get the pump and pulley to line up with the rest of the belt drive.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-bullaculla-3-link-sas-build-pic-heavy.293408/page-58

I read on RST that all their pumps are the same. Just different mounting. If it doesn't work, I'll try a different pulley or drill out the stock pump.

So I've had to fight with, or completely change nearly every part of the All Pro 3 link kit. And the steering parts they gave me are no exception. They sent a Borgeson telescoping steering shaft and two universals. Legit beefy shit BTW. But neither universal will fit the stock steering shaft that comes out of the firewall. So I gotta figure out what size splined shaft it is and order a new U joint. Not a big deal, but it is over $80, and shipping anything to Hawaii is almost always a pain. Or chop up the stock shaft and weld it to the borgeson shaft.
I could call AP and bitch, but I gave up on that long ago :annoyed:

It would be nice if one thing on this build would just bolt right on, or get welded on exactly where they say it's supposed to be...

Supposedly they install these kits at their shop, so you would think they know exactly what it needs. Maybe they have updated their kit by now, but I still wouldn't buy it again.
Sorry for the rant, just frustrated :(
    IMG_2073.jpg

    IMG_2074.jpg
The IFS steering box shaft is 11/16" 36, and the shaft coming through the firewall is smaller.
Both U joints AP sent is 11/16"

It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about that mismatched shaft though.
