The same shit everyone else has.
Washed it and installed some caps on the ball joint grease zerks.

    Now its raining.

We spent most of the weekend messing with the Jeep instead.

I took advantage of the HF sale and got a set of the 6 ton jack stands. On sale for $40 plus 25% off for a total of $30.

It's been a busy weekend! The kids were all away so I got to be quite "productive..." The last thing i finished off was the light install.

There are a few more details in the post in my build thread. I hope you all had a great weekend!

How do you like your setup? I'm starting to work on a DIY bed rack for a Tepui and am trying to decide if i want it that high, or tucked in more behind the cab. Do you notice it much on the highway? Looks like a fun trip! I would love to get out to Moab.

Added a Toyota bed mat and the first side of my future storage and cargo handling solution.

I made some chips and backing plate brackets

    IMG_20170529_190842.jpg

It was a PITA to get the backing plates for the rivet nuts behind the bed, but was able to get them installed. I was a little reserved about drilling the bed, but made the commitment and went for it. I liked the result, but still have to do the other side.

That looks interesting. What is the plan for those brackets?

They can really be used for anything to do with cargo handling. Many straps and fittings available. I figured they were out of the way and I can use them for a platform or for my extra fuel and water.

Any noticeable difference in sound? Maybe a little deeper tone? I've been contemplating this for a while now

Finished at 2am, so technically today...

Light bar, new fogs and headlights mounted, wired, and switched. Wires the HIDs but haven't wired the halos yet; all of those things are bright... shewwwwww.

Took it out exploring. Hit Crandall Peak Trail, up by Strawberry, Ca. Lots of easy trails, found one the went to Sandy Flat Campground. Walk around for a bit and checked out the river, made some lunch. Got a picture of the old lady on her honey bucket. It was a good day out of the house.

She loves her piss bucket when we are on the trails. Funny she feels the need to hide when there is no one around and in the middle of no where.
