The fact that she still has her job is crazy.

 

I'll add that I probably care too much about work here vs others which is probably bad for my stress levels.

 

I agree. I have 18 yrs here and I love my job.
But since this woman got moved here, it's been nothing but anxiety and stress. I literally have to triple check everything which slows my production.
I basically threatened to leave after this incident if they don't move her. Which I doubt they will.

 

And logging everything. Any slightest, minute detail.

 

Yeah I hear you. Except with this being my first job out of college, I only took it as I was 8 months removed from graduation and took the first offer I received. Still don't have a clue what I want to do with my future career

 

Back at it tonight but only for a little bit. You guys saying it's slow makes my night even crazier! Is it a full moon? For fucks sake....

Rich ... We have more than our share of those types too. As well as making the load plans, I sometimes help the Ramp crew with the uploads when they are short handed (weekends, etc) ... but it's not in my contract, so it's my option. If certain folks are part of the crew, I refuse/find an excuse to not go out. The number of incompetent folks seems to be growing.

They better check out the crane as well. 4 ton part + the machine + ripping the 4 bolts out of the floor = way over capacity for a 5 ton crane! Can you say stress fracture?

Hospital Maintenance. I never work doubles

Be careful with that. You might get dinged for creating a hostile work enviroment. I have seen people fired for that. Apparently its easier than causing $50K in damage.

 

How long have you been doing hospital maintenance and how do you like it?
