Here is Ron. He had a sister Kim and she moved down the street to the crazy cat ladies house and when she moved so did Kim.
we rescued them from Houston after Katrina.
He has kidney issues right now, but he can still be a dick every now and again, just because he can... Kinda how we know when he is having a good day...

I'm not sure what's worse... I think pissing outside the litter box is worse. Cat piss is hard to fully remove.

Abigail (our cat) will piss in the litter box most of the time but lately it's been once a day she goes outside the box

She's an older cat (unknown exact age but I'd say 13-16 years old). She's been a PITA/DIVA since my wife adopted her (roughly 8 years ago).

She has hyperthyroidism (diagnosed a while ago) in which we give her medicine. She was at the doctors roughly a month and half ago and they didn't find anything wrong with her (not UTI/ect).

I thought cats were suppose to be "easy"... Growing up my parents had a dog. When I met my wife (15 years ago) her parents had cats (one just recently passed and the other is still alive) so that's what my wife is use to. I'd personally rather have no animals. I told my wife when Abigail (our current cat) passes I don't want any animals for a while.

    Sorry /rant

Clorox makes a urine remover spray that works wonders(black bottle that says urine real big on it). One of our cats was missing the box sometimes because one of the older cats was beating her up and this actually neutralizes the smell when you clean it up. It's not a bleach either and seems to be safe on every surface I've used it on.

I've seen a few over the years, it's not that uncommon I don't think. They like to in bread those crazy kitties! Now I'm trying to remember the last one I seen.

Thanks. I will take a look at that remover.

I found the one you are talking about:

My 19 year old cat Albert pisses outside the box too. Thinks he's hitting the mark but his age is getting the best of him. We now have Rubbermaid storage container lid flipped up side down just in front of the box. Contains pee really well and catches some litter too. It sure gets frustrating!!

Our outside-the-box pee-er has since passed. I used a plastic boot tray ($5-7 HD, Lowes) outside the box. Catches puddles really well.
