I'd be lookin' at it too. Only seen a stepside Taco once or twice.

Damn, no good about the truck. But you're alive, so you'll figure out how to remedy it.
And fwiw, this is the 3rd time I've heard of a 1st gen rolling and the occupant(s) coming out ok. Reassuring, to say the least.

They look great. Yeah try to avoid that airbag as much as possible. I'm still looking for fully powered 4Runner seats to put in the Tacoma.

Got to meet @Lux and @sente3 and enjoy 4WD again as well as the front locker.

Dust cleared and I saw a sharp turn too late, turned in hard and hit the brakes. Slid a bit too much and the front tire caught the berm and started the roll. Bounced on both sides of the cab and landed back on the wheels. I outdrove my vision, lesson learned. Glad I stayed on the road for the most part though, the other side was a drop-off with trees.

If you're willing to spend $2,000-$3,000, DashHub is an auction site that sells cars with Salvage titles. You can buy a Tacoma for that shipped to your door all fees included, only downside is the salvage title and some body damage. Eventually I plan on buying one from them and doing the PreRunner 4x4 conversion, v6 swap, and TRD locking diff. swap. When I'm done I plan on putting my old 2WD drivetrain and inline 4 cyl parts into that truck and selling it with a rebuilt salvage title.

Here's a '95 with just minor damage to the rear inner fender. Plus it has a clean title.

That's one thing you can count on with our group. There will be photos of everything.

In other news I have a line on a donor with a blown motor. Then I can just swap my motor and suspension.

Still checking similarity and condition, but it is a 97 4x4 manual 2.7. The 2.7 is done for but the rest is in nice condition

Yeah rack is fine, actually held the bed straight. LROR gets a great review for those haha. I'll cut sliders off and weld them on the new truck no worries there. Antennas and lights are all unharmed. Front bumper is fucked, but I figure I'll cut the wings off of it and make new ones myself. My wheels are all good too
