    That's my exact use case, bikes. Also, my GF said she would go out camping and into backcountry more often if I could provide more creature comforts. I hope this helps! I was planning to wrap it in black vinyl to absorb some of that Texas sun.

    Off loaded the Thule bike rack today and ordered a the NSR-4 North Shore four place verticle bike rack.
    Pumped for some fire road/single track shuttle action : )
    Will post pics when the new rack arrives.
    The Thule rack hit my tailgate when lowered, hence why I got rid of it, otherwise it was a nice rack.

    It will be scalding if you do that. I have used one of those black rubber bag type camp showers in the VA sun in the summer and it was too hot to use.

    I am planning a shower based on a 6'x6" pvc pipe which will hold over 8 gallons. A rain barrel spigot with bulkhead fitting, pressure regulator, metal valve stem to pressurize it and you are set. Should be about $50-$75 total not counting a mount to my bed rack.

    if I'm not mistaken, those ko2s only come in e loads for that size. how's the ride on them and any effect on your mpg? looking to upgrade soon and that was an option.

    Yeah, the 265/75/16 tire in the Ko2 are e-load only.
    I got a really good deal on them from a fellow TW member otherwise I might have went with C-Load Duratracs.
    They knock the gas mileage down about 1 mpg and ride a little stiffer.
    With that said i like them a lot more than the stock tires : )

    I mainly use my truck as a daily driver and for hunting/fishing. I don't go off roading and the closest to it would be driving on logging trails, gravel/dirt roads to get to my hunting spots. would you recommend those or would they be just a bit overkill?

    Ever since I added my leer canopy, roof top tent, and sliders I've felt that the back of my truck is a little squishy.
    I find this especially true when I'm off-road loaded up with bikes and camping gear.
    After a little bit of research I've decided to go with a set of Hellwig EZ-990 Medium Duty Helper Springs to alleviate the sag.

    I want one of those racks so bad!!! Been eyeballing the website for awhile - I'm going to get tired of lifting the mtb up to the rack on my shell eventually I'm sure.... how long did it take to get the rack after you ordered it?

    They really work well
    The truck feels like it did before I added the roof top tent and canopy.
    Brought it back to a close to stock feel and stance. Was sagging out back a little prior...

    Went on a little road trip this past weekend and gave my new Hellwig springs a nice real world workout.

    The trip in total was about 650 miles with about 50-60 of them being off Road.IMG_6863.jpg
    I was originally considering Sumo Springs but after doing a little research I felt that the Hellwig springs would better suit my needs.
    Previously every pot hole or big dip would cause my truck to bounce off the bump stops. No longer a problem even when bombing down the fire roads of Oregon.

    The Shell was a little over $2000 with the Thule rail system and the Tent was around $1800. The FrontRunner rack was about a $1000 you could get away with using a set of bars instead of the rack for a lot less money.
    Remember if you go with the Canopy and a RTT parking garages are your enemy.
