    From my experience 99% of the time Toyota is horrible about fixing shit we complain about.. and this third gen had almost made me lose my mind a few times.... but sooooo far the TSB for my trans seems to have unfucked a lot of issues with drivability and enjoyment of the drive... this was my mpg here in lex this weekend

    Not only is it the best I've ever gotten in the city it's the best I've ever gotten in this truck EVER!!!
    Let's hope it holds

    I can't wait for the third gen transmission issues to be a thing of the past. I would love to own one but it has to be an auto this go around and after my experience driving one a few weeks ago I was pretty disappointed. I'm diehard Toyota fan but I'm pretty excited to see the new Ranger and Frontier.

    Just had the rev 1 done this morning, definitely changes the way it drives. I somehow managed to get 25.5 mpg the other day!

    Yep
    It doesn't shift nearly as often so it doesn't waste nearly as much fuel

    I still get 15-17 in heavy traffic stop and go stuff

    But no complaints here
