Want to add a DIY front bumper with a possible winch upgrade later. Need opinions on the hidden winch mounting like the MOVE diy bumper 20170402195332_20170323_190913.jpg
or like the NWI trail 1996-2004-toyota-tacoma-open-top-bumper-800x800.jpgThanks

If you fab the whole thing yourself, you could try and do a hidden winch mount with more styling from the second one.

I kinda like the idea of being able to see the winch and access the spool when rolling back up.

So the second one should be a better option for what you want

Bottom, more clearance, fits the Tacoma better and the winch is accessible from the top to see if your spooling your line right.

I've been looking at this myself I'm going with the NWTI bumper with the side braces

Going to weld it myself, it's so cheep I didn't want to pass it up, but I also was looking into kings for the front

Second, the first is bulky. NWI makes some good stuff and you'll be happ with it.

Another vote for the bottom one for me. Top looks too bulky, and bottom offers better clearance, better proportions to the truck, and better access to your winch like you wanted.
