    With a camper shell and one 35" spare 250/350 wouldn't even hold my truck up. If one person jumped in the bed it was on the bumps. I had to go up to 400/450, I'm pretty sure @nfs257 runs 450/550.

    I'd try a lighter springrate before shorter springs like evenflow said 450/500 or so

    Say right now your 400 is compressed 4" right now at ride sag. That be 1600lbs. 300 goes into it a little over 5" if you did a swap.
    Means your collar goes down an inch to be at your same height. Say your link is 2 to 1. raise collar an inch you drop 2".

    I am by far not an expert just speaking from my personal experience and from asking the same questions a couple years ago. I actually want to step up to 450/500 because I still have very low load capacity. When I take a trip I have to pull the rear wheels and droop out the rear end and crank some pre load or my truck looks like a 17 year old with his pants hanging off his ass...

    If he goes light on spring rate just focusing on ride height he will need to add a ton of compression valving to keep it from being really sloppy right ?

    Yeah you'd typically add some more compression and pull a bit of rebound to make up for it.

    Sorry guys left out of town before concluding what happened. I have a feeling that they left out a misalignment when disassembling or weren't torquing it with the allen wrench in place. I told him to check for misalignments and haven't heard back. Also he did take it offroad and the truck had some mud on it in the video he sent me. Not to mention I never had that issue and it wasn't there when I sold it because I specifically replaced that bolt the night before he picked it up. Pissed me off that he's saying that the control arms are "trash" which showed me that they don't know what they're talking about

    sounds like it's time to delete their number and let them figure it out them selves. You got paid and the truck is no longer your responsibility or problem.

    No idea, he said the uniball conversion bolt came loose again so he was tightening it (could have).

    Bummer to hear this pest of a buyer wont quit. I too would be fading out at this point if they are trying to bash on the arms. Unless he did some epic maneuver, I doubt its possible to safely destroy an arm bad enough for replacement from a weekend warrior...but who knows what your buyer is capable of. Its sad to hear a solid rig is just being abused from the sound of it.

    For a minute I thought I was running a 8 stack but I'm actually running a 10 stack on 3.0s. Truck drives great off road, on the street it feels bouncy though.
