You can with those coils. The 3rd Gen coils add an inch and you can either add a top spacer or use 5100's with the oem coils.

Here's my truck with 16 sport suspension with 1/2 spacer for 2 inches up front and an aal in the rear.

Thanks man! I like having more experience under my belt this time, and that this won't be my DD. Will open the door for all sorts of fun. I keep finding good deals and they keep getting swooped up from under my nose. Right now I've got my sights set on an '03 access cab trd off-road with a 5-speed.

 

Should have never sold it......

Yeah! I'm open to any Tacoma, as long as it's access cab/dcsb OR a third gen 4Runner. Either way it's got to be a manual, decent condition, rust free, etc. the one I was looking at earlier was an '08, 106k miles with a new frame for $8500. A steal! Sold it for full price within 20 hour of posting it. Gotta move quick up here apparently.

Too bad you live far and looking for a m/t, I saw a '98 land cruiser, brought in Canada from Florida, fully loader and on 33's for 7500$ I think. If I (and my driveway) could afford a 2nd vehicule I would pull the trigger on it!

How much did you have to chop up the cab mount?

 

Haven't chopped yet. Waiting to see what they look like at full stuff and full lock because as of right now the driver side barely nicks the cab mount and passenger side doesn't touch. I will have the CMC done regardless, they will rub at full stuff I'm sure.

 

And they're 285/75r17s and not 285/70r17s?
