I like the idea but that would take up a lot of head space especially if you put something bulky on it.

You are gonna be crammed for space inside the Taco no matter which way you slice it. Seat molle=forget about passenger leg room. Behind the seat=Forget subs(not to mention a PITA to access quickly). ... go sit in the back seat look up. There is a "dip" in the headliner that gives more room for an overhead style rack. Also, it is more forward than your head is.(although a tall person will still be staring right at whatever is mounted). No other choices really to mount a securely locked rifle in cab.

Rifle vault below back seat would be my choice. Would be nice to have one that electronically unlocks with hand print.

    I don't know anymore!
I have two blueridge and believe contains a hard plastic insert. Used it to hold "gear" (whiskey, rubbers, fishing tackle) lol. Plan to remove and place behind the rear bench seat out of sight. Looks cool but throwing gear on the floor board has become more functional for me.

I have a small Greyman panel on the back wall of my access cab that works great for me for a handheld CB, flashlight, and Leathean. It also holds my First Aid/CPR jump bag from sliding around. It is mounted with rivet-nuts and spacers.

Here's a shot of the CoverKing Tactical - I'm aware that if I add a couple of 1.5L water bottles with water (...or whiskey) they'll be banging rear passenger's knees, but it works to keep my FAK and small items secure - flashlight, etc.

Yes I agree one hundred percent. These ARE guy versions of PURSES. My purse is straight Gucci with the ceradyne so I'm not one to talk.

For the record I don't care what anyone does ever. But I've been on this "purse" insult thing and it's cracking me up.
