Damn I forgot the .243 with the Rock Chucker, my sons first centerfire. The 6.5 Creedmoor has always intrigued me. Down in Williamsport, Pa. at the 1K range and at the time what could be considered the World Championship they kicked butt when they first came out.

On the other hand my son shot his first deer with a 243. Ie: 6mm. And it dropped like a rock at more than a hundred and fifty yards. Did the same with a 270 on the Canadian border on a running doe that went more than 250 pounds field dressed. Shot it through the heart, she went down and got back up and went back the other way. He did it again, damn it I really like the heart meat but nothing left after that.

Shot placement, and some people can only be considered freaks of nature. And then they try out at the Olympic training grounds which he did not pass. After his cancer then chemo & stroke and blindness in his vision he never will be able to do it again. But I got to see some extreme examples of it until that happened. Freak of nature or not, it was amazing to watch. Rifle, shotgun or pistol it didn't matter to him.

Me despite all the shooting I have done will keep my daytime job. Like to think I am proficient no matter what I am shooting. And sometimes wonder if I haven't shot my worst score yet LOL.

    Good to hear .
    Thanks.
Spoke to electrician yesterday and he'll be finished in attic today. There's extra stuff we want done outside the coon damage that'll be seperate invoice. I asked for a combo rv hookup box on side of house at panel. And relocating water heater etc.
I have a few things to do before I call spray foam.
